Mobile-first experience

We at garuda prioritize mobile access because most of our users in Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung and Medan play on smartphones. Our platform is optimized for all screen sizes and connection speeds. The interface automatically adapts to small screens, with touch-friendly buttons and readable text even at 17px font size. Loading times are kept low through image compression and lazy-loading — assets load only as you scroll. We offer a low-data mode that reduces image quality and disables autoplay video, crucial for users on slower 3G or 4G connections in rural areas. Push notifications alert you to upcoming Liga 1 matches, live-dealer seat availability, and bonus expiry times — you can customize notification preferences in settings. Android app installation

Installing garuda on Android begins with downloading the APK file from our official download page. Open your Settings, navigate to Security or Applications, and enable "Unknown sources" (allowing installation from outside the Play Store). Download the APK, then open your file manager and tap the downloaded file. The system prompts you to confirm installation; tap "Install". The app takes 30–60 seconds to install depending on your device's speed. Once installed, open the app from your home screen or app drawer. The first launch may ask for permissions — Camera (for video streaming and identity verification photos), Microphone (for live-dealer game audio), Location (to confirm you are in a supported jurisdiction), and Storage (to cache images and game files). Grant these permissions to use all features. If you receive a security warning about unknown sources, it is normal — the warning applies to non-Play Store apps. Our APK is scanned for malware and verified through standard security checks. Updates arrive as new versions; you will be prompted in-app to download the latest version when available.

iOS access notes

Apple's App Store policies restrict certain online gaming applications; garuda may not be available directly from the App Store. Instead, iOS users access garuda via the mobile web browser. Open Safari or Chrome on your iPhone or iPad, navigate to garuda.best, and bookmark the site for quick access. To add a home-screen shortcut, tap the Share icon in Safari, scroll down to "Add to Home Screen", and follow the prompts. The shortcut creates an app-like icon on your home screen that launches the website in full-screen mode (without the browser's address bar). This web-app experience is nearly identical to a native app — you can receive notifications, cache game data, and play offline-compatible games (slots and card tables). For video streaming (live-dealer games), a stable Wi-Fi or mobile data connection is required. iOS does not require enabling "unknown sources" like Android; the browser-based approach bypasses that restriction entirely. If you experience loading issues, clear your Safari cache (Settings → Safari → Clear History and Website Data) and try again.

Web app and browser version

The garuda web app runs in any modern browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge — on desktop, tablet or smartphone. Open garuda.best directly; no download is required. The web version carries identical features to the native apps: sports markets, live-dealer tables, slots, account management, deposit and withdrawal. Responsiveness means the layout adapts whether you view it on a 27-inch monitor or a 5-inch phone screen. Desktop users benefit from a wider layout, larger bet input fields, and multi-window trading (view Liga 1 odds and live-dealer tables side-by-side). Tablet users (iPad, Samsung Tab) get a balanced middle-ground layout. Smartphone users see a single-column, vertical-scroll layout optimized for thumbs. Browser caching stores your login session and recent preferences, so subsequent visits load faster. The web version does not consume device storage (unlike apps), making it ideal if you have limited phone space. However, offline play is limited; most games require a live connection. If you prefer an app-like experience without downloading an APK, use the web version and add it to your home screen as described under iOS access notes.

Data usage and optimisation

Streaming live-dealer video consumes the most data — approximately 50–150 MB per hour depending on video quality. garuda automatically adjusts quality based on your connection: high-quality 1080p on Wi-Fi, medium-quality 720p on 4G, and low-quality 480p on slow 3G. You can override this in settings by selecting "Video Quality" and choosing a fixed option. Slot games are far less data-intensive (1–5 MB per hour) because they use local graphics instead of streaming. Static pages (account history, game rules, help articles) consume minimal data (under 1 MB per page). Images across the platform use progressive JPEG and WebP formats, loading a blurry preview first, then filling in detail. If you have limited data, enable "Low Data Mode" in your account settings — this disables autoplay video, compresses images further, and removes animated backgrounds. Sports pages (Liga 1 standings, Piala AFF schedule) are text-heavy and data-light. Push notifications use negligible data (a few KB per notification). Monitor your usage in your browser's developer tools or your phone's data settings; most users on moderate plans consume 100–500 MB monthly on garuda depending on how often they stream live games.
